I was born in Athens on July14^th, 1988 and I got in touch with the field of Greek TV production at a very young age through our family business, called VCA Productions (1987 – 2003). That upbringing gave me the opportunity of access in a creative and professional field with experienced people in television productions. I also acted in my first and last TV commercial at the age of six.

On 2006 I did my bachelors degree in the UK and Kingston University where I studied TV & Media Studies. After graduating on 2009, I spent three months in New York attending film directing and editing seminars through the New York Film Academy school. After those seminars I returned and worked in Greece as a production assistant in commercials directed by acclaimed filmmakers such as Mr.Takis Zervoulakos and Mrs.Memi Koupa and also worked in the TV show “The Apartment Building”, by ANOSI productions and broadcasted through MEGA Channel. Next season I worked as an editor (Final Cut Pro) at the Greek financial and news TV channel called SBC.

On 2011 I continued a Masters degree in the USA and Los Angeles where I studied filmmaking. Besides from my studies I also participated in other productions as a first assistant director, editor, G&E (Grip & Electric) and production PA in student and non-student productions, short films and a web series called “Oh You Pretty Things!” with leading actress, Francesca Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood. During my studies, I also did the co-production, script, directing and editing of two short films, which both won an award, one for Best Directing in Downtown Film Festival (LA,2014) and the other one for Best Production for a short film at the Madrid International Film Festival (Spain, 2014).

After three years of studies and work in Los Angeles and six in total living abroad, I returned for good back in Athens, Greece on 2015. During the summer of 2018 I finished the production and directing of my third short no-budget DIY short film “O.T.C. (Over The Counter)” based on a monologue of a book written by author Akis Dimou, which participated and officially screened at the 24^th Athens Film Festival on 2018.

The last few years I have been working professionally as a freelance director and partially as producer-editor in commercials and corporate videos/ testimonials, interviews and video promos. Towards the end of 2019 I started a production platform called UMATIC which specializes in collaborating with freelancer industry professionals in the filmmaking field, from shooting a project up to post-production.
