SAMOLADAS ZACHOS
(1967) DIRECTORZachos Samoladas was born in Thessaloniki on August 26, 1967. Studied Experimental Animation at California Institute of the Arts, USA with legendary animator Jules Engel as his mentor and film direction at Eugenia Hadjickou Film School at Athens, Greece. His first contact with the audiovisual sector was through the Greek State television ET1 special program for children called "The Storyteller" and Nikos Pilavios. Since 1988 works for TV100, The Municipal Television of Thessaloniki. Between 1994 and 2003 he lectured at various film schools in Thessaloniki. Delegate at the Ministry of Culture for TV100 from 1994-2000. As Head of Productions and Programming he had a major part for the digital transition from analog to digital at TV100. Since 2013 he is executive producer, location manager, researcher and co-director in various co-productions with South Korean networks.
