SPETSIOTI NANCY
(1981) DirectorNancy Spetsioti was born in Larissa in 1981. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts' Film Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has directed the short films: "Farewell to arms…", "Punishment", "At a border railway Station", "Jafar", "Ouk an lavis", "Consideration", "Leoforos" (documentary), "Daybreak", “iGEM MetaThess, from Thessaloniki to all over the world” (documentary). Which have been screened at festivals, in cinemas and have won awards. Also she has directed the theatrical play "Marriage" by Nikolai Gogol, for the Experimental stage of the “Thessalian theatτe”. She has written plays, and screenplays for short and feature films and television series. In 2008 she won the 3rd national award for theatrical play. Her plays have been presented as theatrical analogies and complete performances by the National Theater of Greece, by Municipal theatre of Serres, by Fournos Theatre and the Sofouli Theatre. She is a member of the International Theater Institute and of the Greek Directors Guild.
