MIGKAS ALEXIS() DIRECTOR
I was artistic (executive) director at the Municipal Theaters of Rhodes (1971-1974), Agrinio (1980) and Trikala (1999-2000). From 1975 to 1978 I worked at the National Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG) as a director and close collaborator of M. Volanakis. This cooperation lasted for 11 years and continued even after our departure from the NTNG. As a director I presented many plays at the NTNG, at the Municipal Theatres of Veroia, Ioannina, Serres, etc., at the free theatre, at the National Radio Station and on television. Moreover, I had the opportunity to travel to the USA several times, performing in Ancient Drama plays across the country (e.g. Lincoln Theater of New York City) and attending directing classes there.
Finally, I taught acting at the Veakis School in Athens and at the school of the NTNG in Thessaloniki.
